The School Magazine

The school magazine came out today. There was an article about my life in Gurye (it was really cute) and a picture of me next to the top English student (senior who I do not teach). So that was kind of a nice little memento.

But, what really caught my eye was this comic activity. It had me laughing the entire afternoon. Every activity for baby is just hilarious. Hope you enjoy it, too!

  1. Thanks for the laughs, I needed that today. I just love the "don't" pictures, especially the excercising the baby. The washing and drying are pretty good also. Scary that people have to be told this??

Have a great rest of the week,
    Love you,
    Aunt Sandy and Uncle Jeff.

  2. Gee whiz, this doesn't bode well for the male population. Thank goodness for women. Very funny. I'd love to see the article they wrote about you too. Love you... Mom

  3. Oh haha. Oh. These are good. I don't think there's anything wrong with the first one. Although I'm more concerned for that parent when he gets frustrated at the baby for running the clock and knocking over pieces.

Do the people look white to you? With those haircuts?

  4. High school magazine in English with cartoons... glad to see that the English education has come a long way - I'm impressed. I don't know if the magazine is proofread thoroughly, but do you find yourself mentally correcting typos, grammatical mistakes, and/or odd wording or phrasing when you read it? Do you have to suppress the urge to break out a red pen and start marking it up? Do you have to tell the teacher in you to give it a rest? Just wondering... :-)

By the way, I played Balderdash with your family the other night. Maybe you should try playing that in your class. I bet you will get wild answers. Well, on second thought, maybe you shouldn't.
