  1. Did some of the kids have masks on? The did a nice job. The pumpkins were quite small. I imagine sort of hard to work on. I bet it smelled interesting too. Better you than me. Looks like another lesson that won't soon be forgotten. :0)

  2. One girl was wearing a face mask because she has a cold. Students wear the mask when they're sick to keep from spreading germs. Some of the masks are a stitch (pictures of monster mouths or eyeballs).

  3. We pretty much always carried a white cloth (layers of gauze) mask with us in the winter. We used it just walking on the streets to keep the dust out of nose and mouth, and also used it whenever we cleaned the classrooms. When we were in Granada, Spain in the spring, at Alhambra, we saw an oriental lady (maybe Japanese or Korean, don't exactly remember) wearing a Coach mask with the Coach log all over it. Tara and I burst out laughing after she passed by. Oh my, fancy fancy - how far these masks have come!

  4. I love the pumpkin with the spider carved out of it - great idea for next year's jack-o-lanterns.
